Sam’s Club offers two main types of memberships: the Club membership, which costs $50 per year, and the Plus membership, which costs $110 per year. The Plus membership includes additional perks like cash rewards, free shipping, and early shopping hours.

The Club membership provides access to all Sam’s Club locations and standard savings. The Plus membership, on the other hand, offers extra benefits such as 2% cash rewards on qualifying purchases, free shipping on most items, earlier shopping hours and extra discounts on pharmacy and optical services. 
You can renew or upgrade your Sam’s Club membership online, in-store, or through the Sam’s Club mobile app. Simply log in to your account, select the membership option you prefer and follow the prompts to complete the process. Technically, you cannot shop at Sam’s Club without a membership. But, non-members can get a one-day guest pass for free to shop at Sam’s Club. The catch: You’ll pay a 10% service fee on your purchases.

The membership shopping club with 600 warehouse locations is closed on Thanksgiving, but early in-store shopping for Plus members begins Friday, November 29, at 8 a.m. and runs until 10 a.m. At that time all club members can shop. The sale ends on Monday, December 2.
